Titanfall Assault arrives for mobile platforms this week

On August 10, Respawn Entertainment will release Titanfall: Assault, a new mobile experience developed by Particle City and co-published by Nexon. The new Titanfall game is a different experience for players familiar with the fast-paced, first-person shooter action. Assault is a real-time strategy game, that allows players to play as a commander, whose job is to capture enemy territories, throughout different locations familiar to Titanfall players.

Titanfall: Assault isn't Respawn's first attempt to cash in on the Titanfall name in the mobile space. Earlier this year, Titanfall: Frontline, a card-based game, was canceled, while still in beta. Hopefully, this time around, the experience is better and more rewarding for players who love the sci-fi franchise.

Titanfall: Assault will be free-to-play, so expect a healthy dose of in-app purchases.

Android players can get in on the action early, by pre-registering for the game, which will reward them with an exclusive Titan.
