Titanfall's beta will require 4.9GB of space on the Xbox One and 12.38GB on PC. The news comes via social media posts from gamers selected to participate in the game's beta which will begin tomorrow, February 14.
The beta will offer players three modes — Attrition, Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing — spread across the maps Fracture and Angel City. Although the beta is simply meant to "tease the game," Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella believes it's enough to show fans "the core of what the game is." To that end, leveling is included but capped and not every item will be available.
If you're still interested in getting into the beta, registration is open until 4:00pm PST on February 14. If youa re selected, you'll be emailed directly by EA with instructions on how to access the game no later than 11:59pm PST on February 17th. The beta is open for everyone worldwide, but Respawn warns that only a limited number of users will actually be selected.
Titanfall on Xbox One and PC is due out on March 11 in North America. The Xbox 360 version has been delayed until March 25.
