Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment is hiring designers for two game projects, according to a company ad posting on Gamasutra.
The first is "a new game in the Titanfall universe," which we assume to be a sequel to their 2014 blockbuster shooter which was exclusive to Xbox One. Last year, Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella confirmed the development of Titanfall 2, adding that it's coming to Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
The second project is a bit more intriguing, however. Respawn says it's a "new 3rd person action/adventure IP." Though no details are revealed, the job posting mentions need for Senior Level Designer "to embrace and contribute to the project vision, breathing life into the gameplay world and helping define the moment to moment player experience."
Back in 2014, Respawn's Community Manager Abbie Heppe mentioned the developer wanted to move away from the Titanfall universe and onto other projects. We can't wait to see what they have in store for us. I'm going to go ahead and assume a reveal is slated for later this year at E3.
