Titanfall: Expedition, the first map pack DLC for Respawn Entertainment's multiplayer shooter, won't be releasing for Xbox 360 until June.
Respawn Entertainment revealed today that Bluepoint Games, the developer of the Xbox 360 version of the game, is continuing their partnership and will be "following Respawn's lead bringing updates and improvements to the Xbox 360."
"This will include free updates including further enhancements to the Private Matches and more as well as paid DLC including the upcoming release of Titanfall: Expedition."
Respawn also said that updates for the Xbox 360 version will follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. Right now, Bluepoint is working to bring over changes included in the Xbox One's Content Update 2 while also working on the Expedition DLC.
"This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360," Respawn explained. "Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates."
Titanfall: Expedition is still coming to Xbox One and PC in May, but will be released for Xbox 360 in June. It is included with the $25 Titanfall Season Pass.
