Titanfall on Xbox 360 runs ‘above 30FPS’

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will run "above 30 frames per second," Bluepoint Games confirmed today.

In a new blog post, Bluepoint Games Senior Producer Daryl Allison assured gamers "Titanfall on Xbox 360 is the true experience." All of the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, and everything else found in the Xbox One and PC versions will be included.

"The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great. There are of course some technical differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware – for example, the game runs above 30fps – but rest assured, the intense 6v6 wall-running, titan dropping action is all there," Daryl said.

Titanfall on Xbox 360 was originally due out alongside the Xbox One and PC versions in March, but Allison agreed it needed more time. "EA and Respawn made the right call and the extra time has paid off," Allison said. "Titanfall on Xbox 360 is definitely a game that Bluepoint Games is proud of, and we're excited for you to get your hands on it."

Titanfall is set to release for Xbox 360 on April 8. Unfortunately, Bluepoint didn't share any footage of the game running on Xbox 360, so we still really don't know how it performs on the last-gen system.
