Titanfall was March’s best selling video game

We've got your console sales data for March right here, but maybe you're interested in seeing the software figures for last month. If that's the case, then this story is for you.

Titanfall was March's best selling video game according to the NPD, thanks to the combined sales figures on both PC and Xbox One. All in all, video game sales brought in $432 million, a 28% drop from the previous year. As always, these figures only account for retail sales.

inFAMOUS: Second Son came in second, with South Park: The Stick of Truth, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Dark Souls II rounding out the top five. Interestingly enough, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes came in sixth. I guess some people were itching for Metal Gear Solid pretty badly.

The sales figures also include any bundles, including the Xbox One/Titanfall bundle.
