To the Moon sequel, Finding Paradise, has been delayed

To the Moon is considered to be one of indie gaming's most poignant and evocative games over the last several years, and its current 97% "Overwhelmingly Positive" Steam user rating back up its popularity. Its follow-up, Finding Paradise, is understandably quite an anticipated game given that fact, but unfortunately, we will have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on the game according to developer, Freebird.

As far as a reason, Freebird sent out this statement:

"Due to personal circumstances, its release has been moved to the end of this year to ensure quality."

Developer Kan Gao said in an email to PC Gamer that "things with Finding Paradise have been a lot more meticulous. There's a lot more effort to add to the characters' liveliness via graphical details and animations, as well as to the world."

Gao says that development on Finding Paradise was based on the pipeline for To The Moon, but with all of the improvements that have been made, more time was needed.

As of now, there's no concrete release date, as Finding Paradise's Steam Page only says "Late 2017" as a release date, but Gao suggested that the game could release around the same time frame as To The Moon did back in 2011, which was November 1st.
