Ubisoft has opened up the site for Tom Clancy's The Division beta access signups.
Beginning initially on Xbox One in December as announced at E3, you may register for the waiting list or redeem your guaranteed access if you pre-order the game. All pre-orders through Ubisoft's U-play or via the code printed on the receipt from your local retailer guarantee access to the beta as soon as it goes live. If you do not have a code, a limited number of wait list invites will go out via your U-play E-mail address.
The Division takes place in Manhattan, NY shortly after a viral outbreak decimates the city. Rumor has it that currency is the source of the outbreak but this has yet to be confirmed or denied by Ubisoft.
An official release date of March 8th, 2016 was revealed at E3 for all platforms with Xbox One being on the receiving end of first access dlc. Beta access for additional platforms will come in "early 2016" according to Ubisoft.
