If you thought that Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation was filled with enough action to satisfy Tom Cruise's need to beat people up, you're wrong. He's got a taste for blood that only Jack Reacher 2 can satisfy. According to JoBlo, the sequel will begin filming in November with a tentative 2016 release date.
In the first film, Reacher, a former Military Police Investigator thing, investigated a sniper shooting that resulted in the death of five people. Cruise/Reacher took his badass fighting and investigative skills to the streets to find an answer.
Jack Reacher 2 has Cruise reprising his role as Reacher, but this time things are a bit different. The film is said to be modeled after the book "Never Go Back," where Reacher is headed back to his old military base (maybe he shouldn't have gone back) to go on a date. This date results in his arrest for beating someone up (typical) and father a child — all of which would be ok, except he doesn't remember a single moment of it.
Thus, we have Reacher putting his skills back to work (and hopefully another cool car chase).
