Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for Xbox One and PS4 revealed

Tomb Raider. Remade. Reborn. For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The world premier for the next-gen version of Tomb Raider happened during VGX. What's different? It starts with Lara. The biggest thing is that her hair is real, not static. Her entire face is redone, polygons have been added to the environment, and the levels feel alive as trees sway with the wind.

It's the first step into next-gen for Crystal Dynamics, so consider this a tease of what they're looking to do for the sequel. The story is not changed at all; it's just a huge visual upgrade.

Oh, by the way… Camilla Luddington was there — the voice of Lara — and she is just gorgeous.

You can expect Tomb Raider Definitive Edition to release January 28, 2014, and it's even listed on Amazon.
