Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics could reveal new IP at E3

You'd think developers would learn not to update their LinkedIn profiles until a game is officially announced. This is how rumors spread, people! The latest comes via Superannuation who found that Crystal Dynamics' level artist Matt McCulloch is currently working on "wildly cool environments for a soon to be announced title for Crystal Dynamics."

A job posting on Crystal Dynamics' website calls for someone to work on "creating the foundation of a brand new AAA game" being built in the company's Redwood City studio.

We first heard of this new IP back in January of last year when Crystal Dynamics community manager Meagan Marie spilled the beans about a "new IP in addition to the Tomb Raider reboot." While Tomb Raider has since released, we haven't heard much of the other IP. With E3 just a month away, I wouldn't be surprised if that's when Crystal Dynamics lifts the lid on their new project.
