Tomb Raider surpasses one million players in just 48 hours

It seems as though Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have reason to celebrate Tomb Raider. Global brand director Karl Stewart yesterday revealed that over one million players were raiding tombs in the latest series reboot.

Although he didn't clarify, we assume he means that the game has sold over one million units in the two days, not that one million concurrent players were enjoying the game. Either way, both numbers are very impressive. Tomb Raider has received tremendous praise on Metacritic, while scoring a 9/10 here on GameZone.
