Since Bungie announced that December's update would contain some class balancing tweaks, we knew Titans were in danger of the nerf bat. With the arrival of the Sunbreaker subclass and its powerful Hammer of Sol, Titans have been quite the hot topic of conversation and debate.
While the Sunbreaker class is likely on the nerf block, Bungie will also be looking at the other Titan subclasses.
"While we’re making some adjustments to Sunbreakers in Update 2.1.0, we won’t be leaving Strikers and Defenders out in the cold this winter," Bungie said in today's update.
Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a bit longer to see what those changes are. Don't worry, we don't have to wait until the patch notes when the update drops to find out more. Bungie promised to post a new preview article tomorrow, December 4th, featuring Senior Design Lead Sage Merrill as he offers a look at the future of Titans in Destiny.
"Expect stats and insights for each subclass," Bungie said.
In addition to class rebalancing, the December update will also contain weapon tuning as well as a slew of Year One exotics upgraded to Year Two power levels.
Full patch notes for update 2.1.0 are set to arrive alongside the update itself, "early next week."
