Tonight’s Mr Robot season finale postponed due to Virginia reporter shooting

The scheduled season finale for USA Network's hacker drama series "Mr. Robot" has been postponed because the previously filmed episode includes a "graphic scene similar in nature" to the tragic event that occured on live television this morning in Virginia.

Earlier today, WDBJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were brutally murdered on live television by a former WDBJ reporter who I will not name because he doesn't deserve the mention for his cowardly act.

"Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode," USA Networks said in a statement. "Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time."

The episode, which was supposed to air tonight, has been pushed back to September 2nd and will be shown during its regular 10:00pm time slot. In its place tonight, USA will show a rerun of last week's penultimate episode.
