Tonight’s North American Splatfest pits Art against Science

The North American Splatfest continues to be the place where we obtain answers to matters of true importance. While the Europeans have been participating in Snoozefests, such as Eating vs. Sleeping, or tackling the issue of room tidiness, North Americans have been taking on the real issues: Cats vs. Dogs, Autobots vs. Decepticons, and now Art vs. Science as of tonight at 9PM PST.

Since the age of the Renaissance Art and Science have been tangled together in the minds of great men like Leonardo da Vinci. Finally, we'll obtain the truth of which pursuit is truly worthy of our greatest minds. Thanks to Science.

Art meets Science all the time, like this portrait. You can almost hear his encouraging words, huh?

That wasn't me pushing science, it's my policy to avoid influencing readers as to what side to choose, I was just pointing out that if it weren't for Science that we wouldn't have Splatfest to answer this burning question for the masses. It's not like I'm telling you to pick Science over Art because of the great boons it has brought us and not showing your support would make you a filthy hypocrite.

We all know Science just isn't sexy to Americans, so I wouldn't waste my time trying to sell Team Science by pointing out that Science brought us the amazing devices you're reading this on, will eventually cure all major diseases, and unilaterally enhances Art. I'm just going to say there are two choices out there with variable degrees of correctness that encase the entire spectrum from 0-100%.

Regardless of whether you choose Art or Right, the Splatfest begins tonight at 9PM PST. Bring your A-game and stay fresh.
