Torment: Tides of Numenera is out now, RPG giveaway and sale is on over at GOG.com

'Free' and 'On Sale' are two things I never get tired of hearing.

Torment: Tides of Numenera, the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, officially released today on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Naturally, the PC version is the native version as Planescape is a cult classic of sorts for the platform. As such, Planescape's only digital distributor, GOG.com is celebrating the launch of Torment: Tides of Numenera in style. Not only do you nab a free copy of Lords of Xulima with a purchase of Numenera, but GOG is also giving away another cRPG completely free while discounting some others.

If you head on over right now, you can grab Eschalon: Book I for free without purchasing anything. The old-school RPG is a challenging game set in an open world where you wake up to find that you have no memory of who you are, and the game is one epic quest to find out. On top of that, the two other games in the series, Eschalon: Book II and III have also received a permanent price drop and are currently 60% off during GOG's RPG sale.

If those games don't suit your fancy, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Wasteland 2, and Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition highlight a pretty solid offering of RPGs that are on sale for the next few days.

So there you have it, Torment: Tides of Numenera is available now with a free copy of Lords of Xulima, plus the giveaway of Eschalon: Book I and the massive RPG sale going on right now. It's a good time to be an RPG fan.
