Total War: ATTILA announced, releasing in 2015

There's a new Total War in town and it's coming from the fast approaching famine and war infested Dark Ages (let's not forget disease infested).

Total War: ATTILA was announced today and it brings us to a world after Rome rose and fell. In the wake of its demise barbaric tribes are rallying, nations are divided, there's destruction and death at every turn. In the city of Scythia, an army is being built — its leader is none other than Attila the Hun. We know his story, especially if you watched Mulan.

ATTILA will feature new mechanics as well reintroduce features that fans have been asking for. There are new gameplay mechanics that improve the franchise's real-time strategy system and family trees, and skill trees.

Janos Gaspar, the project lead on ATTILA, openly stated Creative Assembly and Sega's aim with the game, they "want to push players to the limits of their skill to survive against the odds, and to love every minute of it.”

Total War: ATTILA is set to release in 2015 on Windows PC and Mac.
