Total War: ROME II got the best kind of update on Steam today. The kind of update that brings new things to the game without a cost.
I'm talkin' free DLC, here. This August Warriors Update adds a bunch of new units; Hex-Bearers, Amazonian Riders, Scythian Noblewomen. All are coming to several playable factions, and include an upgrade to the Suebi roster.
On top of releasing the free update, there's a new content pack available. Titled, Daughters of Mars, the DLC brings female warriors to the battle lines (hence the name Daughters of Mars). These warrior maidens will bring a deadly mix of fighting styles and abilities.
Daughters of Mars will expand the rosters of Rome, the Lusitani, the Suebi and Sparta or they can be hired as mercenaries. Your call.
