In case you haven't heard, Total War: Warhammer is really good. It's been scoring well pretty much with anyone who's played (including us!) and it seems that the fans have bought in as well…literally. SEGA has announced that Total War: Warhammer broken the Total War franchise's sales records, by selling over half a million copies, and the game also regularly hosts over 100,000 concurrent players.
Creative Assembly Studio Director Tim Heaton said:
"The team paid particular attention to stability and performance throughout the game’s development…[We’ve] thoroughly enjoyed creating new ways to play Total War within Games Workshop’s stunning Warhammer Fantasy world. We’re very proud of it, and it’s wonderful to see the game receiving such a great reception from critics, Total War veterans and new players alike."
If you haven't already purchased the game, you have until mid-day on May 31st to grab the Chaos Warriors race pack for free as that is the end of the week long promotion.
