Creative Assembly revealed their next piece of DLC for Total War: Warhammer with a beastly brutal leaked trailer. The warherds has been gathered, the Beastmen are coming.
Total War: Warhammer is the best Total War game in a long time and in our review it got a 9 out of 10. Now it's time for some more "real" DLC and not just extra blood effects, though they might be needed when the Beastmen are done with the Old World.
The trailer is currently an unlisted video on the official Total War YouTube channel, but nothing stays hidden on the Internet for long and the people on Reddit amongst others have already found this epic cinematic trailer.
The fact that the Beastmen trailer is a cinematic trailer means that no information about units, play style, and such has been revealed, but at the end they are promising that some gameplay will be revealed on July 19th and the release date for "Call of the Beastmen" has been scheduled to July 28th.
If the trailer and the official description can't send a shiver down your spine then nothing can. There is also a link to a Steam page in the description but at the time of writing it is not active.
"As The Beastmen emerge from their woodland lairs, ten thousand hooves stamp in agitated union, and a foetid musk arises from the sea of matted fur. The bray of the battle-horns pierces the gloom, and beyond: from Bordeleaux to Ostermark, the Call Of The Beastmen will be heard across The Old World!"
It wasn't that big of a surprise that Creative Assembly would be adding the Beastmen but having them confirmed is pretty great. Now we just wait for the Lizardmen, the Tomb Kings, someĀ Elves, and the Skaven to be introduced to Total War: Warhammer.
