Touch Mechanic For Nintendo DS Available Now
At North American Retail Stores
Aspyr Media announced today that Touch Mechanic
for Nintendo DS is available at North American retail outlets. Published in
North America through a partnership with KANDO, Touch Mechanic introduces gamers
to the exciting and competitive world of custom cars and teaches them what it
takes to be a surgeon of the automobile. Gamers learn to change rims, repair
damaged bumpers, replace mufflers and brakes, add aftermarket enhancements and
perform paint and decal work on vehicles of all shapes and sizes while working
their way to the top of the profession.
Touch Mechanic™ features an intuitive interface
for performing repairs and upgrades such as installing screws, changing wheels,
welding, sawing and painting. Through manipulating the stylus, players will
become a master of all the tools and tricks of the trade.
Beginning as a young mechanic with an intriguing
past, players find themselves under the wing of Captain Bob of Captain Bob’s
Auto Repair. Captain Bob mentors through several early repair jobs and even
gives the mechanic his own car to upgrade and customize. The player earns money
through repair work to upgrade his car and enters the new ride in custom car
shows. With impressive showings in the competition, gamers gain the attention of
bigger and better shops and eventually obtain a dream job with the top racing
team on the circuit.
Adding to the realistic gameplay, throughout the
75 levels of Touch Mechanic™ players will enjoy fully rendered 3D automobiles.
Touch Mechanic™ is rated ‘E’ for Everyone by the
ESRB and is available for the SRP of $29.99.
