Space Run Galaxy is the sequel to 2014's Space Run and is a Tower Defense game re-imagined as you truck a load of goods from one side of the galaxy to the other. Space Run Galaxy is set 20 years after the original game, as the game's protagonist, Captain Buck Mann (I wish that was my name) now runs his own intergalactic courier service, and you, the player are a member of his crew.
The game tasks you with building your own custom vessel to take on a variety of contracts that see trucking precious goods from planet to planet. The game's ship creator is a freeform, grid-based model that will let you create literally any shape you want (yes, even wangs). What's even better is that you can create a number of different ships so that you don't have to use the same ship on consecutive runs.
Along your journey, you will ferry both fragile and dangerous cargo that can break and even put your own ship in danger. That doesn't even account for the dangers that exist within the depth of space, which can range from greedy pirate ships to epically proportioned space monsters.
Space Run Galaxy is available now for PC on Steam. Happy truckin'.
