Ubisoft has delayed yet another game release as Trackmania Turbo will be delayed into 2016 from its original November release.
In an announcement over on the Ubiblog, the publisher stated that
“During the additional months, we plan to enhance the campaign and the game’s interface. Since multiplayer is such a strong component of the Trackmania experience, we also plan to continue improving Trackmania Turbo’s multiplayer modes,”
They continued by saying that more new features are going to be added including the ability to have multiplayer on tracks custom made by the players themselves. “With updated multiplayer modes comes more multiplayer testing. The extra time will give us an opportunity to make sure that the online infrastructure is stable and that the online experience is a smooth one.”
Only a window of early 2016 was provided with no exact date, but this isn't good for Ubisoft as it marks yet another delay of a major game release. Hopefully we'll hear more soon and we've contacted Ubisoft for a follow up.
