Trails in the Sky port and sequel get new release windows

We're getting closer to finding out what happens after the cliffhanger in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.

Xseed Games announced today on Facebook that it's bringing the sequel, Trails in the Sky: SC (or Second Chapter), to PSP and Steam this summer. It will port the original role-playing game to Steam sometime this year.

The publisher revealed its plans to complete the Trails series in North America in September last year. It said it would port the first title to PC last winter, which didn't happen. Trails in the Sky: SC was slated for a 2014 release.

These titles will be digital only. In November, Xseed explained by saying that "releasing a PSP game in mid-2014 even as a download-only title was risky enough as it was."
