Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is going to be a massive, intense battle that pits Autobots against Decepticons in a battle for their home planet of Cybertron. Obviously a game of this magnitude requires a strong cast of vocal talent, which is just what High Moon Studios and Activision got.
Leading a star-studded cast of vocal talent is long-serving Optimus Prime voice actor Peter Cullent and long-time actor Nolan North. Cullen will once again lend his voice as Optimus Prime in the upcoming third-person action sequel to 2010's War for Cybertron. He first voiced the Autobot leader back in the 80's television show, and again in 2007 for Michael Bay's film adaptation.
Nolan North, on the other hand, will do what he does best and that is act as anything required. He will play several roles in the game including Bruticus, Cliffjumper and Brawl.
The confirmed voice cast so far is as follows (according to Game Informer):
- Peter Cullen – Optimus Prime
- Greg Berger – Grimlock
- Nolan North – Bruticus, Cliffjumper and Brawl
- Troy Baker – Jazz, Jetfire, and Kickback
- Fred Tatasciore – Megatron, Ratchet, and Metroplex
- Steve Blum – Shockwave, Swindle, and Sharpshot
- Isaac Singleton – Soundwave
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron launches on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on August 28 in the U.S. and August 31 in Europe. Pretty impressive cast list, eh?
