Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo now available

High Moon Studios and Activision today announced the release of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron's demo. The demo, available on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, gives fans an opportunity to test both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes in Fall of Cybertron.

In single player, you can experience the first mission as Bumblebee battles to save the Autobot starship under heavy attack from Megatron and the Decepticons. There is also a non-linear assault mission where you can take control of the shapeshifting Vortex and engage in firefights that take place on both ground and air.

For the multiplayer crowd, the demo will also include the character customizer where you can take your created bot and try out Team Deathmatch and Conquest online multiplayer modes.

Fall of Cybertron is the direct sequel to the 2010's action thriller War for Cybertron.  The game follows the events of its predecessor as the Autobots struggle to defeat the Decepticons in a battle for their home planet of Cybertron. It is set to release on August 21, 2012.

See you on Cybertron, Autobots!
