Transformers: Fall of Cybertron finally lets me create the Transformer of my dreams

If there was one thing I wished that was a bit more fleshed out than it actually was in Transformers: War for Cybertron, it would be the character creator. What it amounted to was mostly just picking a class. In the sequel, Fall of Cybertron, it looks like we're getting a fairly robust Transformer creator that will finally let me create the shape shifting robot of my dreams.

The trailer mostly highlights the various maps you'll be fighting on, of which there are 10, and also shows off the Escalation Mode which will let you play co-operatively to fend off hordes of robots.

While I never really jumped into the multiplayer aspects of the first game, I'm really digging the customization and the variety that seems to be present in Fall of Cybertron, so it looks like I'll definitely be taking to the online front this time around.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will take place during the final days of the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, which as it was apparent in War for Cybertron, will feature some intense moments between the warring factions. You'll be able to join the war soon, as the game comes out August 21st.
