Next week, Supergiant Games' new sci-fi RPG, Transistor, will be released for PS4 and PC (Steam). To celebrate the impending launch, we have a brand new trailer that touches upon the story and highlights gameplay. It's also got a pretty jammin' soundtrack which you can actually pre-order from Supergiant Games' website.
Transistor invites you to wield an extraordinary weapon of unknown origin as you fight through a futuristic city, piecing together the Transistor's mysteries as you pursue its former owners. Once you beat the game, you will unlock Recursion mode, a new mode that offers the option to "recurse through the experience" with your User Level, Transistor functions, and all other progression data already unlocked. The big difference is that the change in the composition of enemy forces you'll encounter, essentially opening up all-new gameplay options.
Transistor will be available on May 20 for PS4 and PC.
