Treyarch previews Black Ops 2 Apocalypse DLC

Activision has released a new video in which Treyarch previews the upcoming Black Ops 2 DLC, Apocalypse, for us. In the video, game design director discusses the concept for the four new multiplayer maps — Pod, Frost, Takeoff, and Dig — while another developer goes more in-depth about Origins, the studio's "deepest and most imaginative Zombies experience to date."

Activision and Treyarch have made quite a big deal about Origins, which takes players to a Dieselpunk-themed First World War, reuniting them with the four original Zombies heroes.

Apocalypse is the is the fourth and final DLC map pack for Black Ops 2 and likely the last bit of content we'll see for the game before the anticipated release of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Apocalypse is set to arrive first on Xbox LIVE on August 27th, with other platforms to follow.
