Treyarch QA tester mentions Black Ops 2 for Wii U

A Treyarch QA tester has given us our second clue that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 could be headed to the Wii U.

Listed in his LinkedIn profile, QA tester Randall Herman lists his responsibilities at Treyarch include "testing" Black Ops 2 on PS3 and Wii U. Other duties include "multiplayer testing while collaborating with team, ad hoc testing, and regression" but the big news here is that Black Ops 2 might possibly be a Wii U title.

Neither Activision nor Nintendo have announced anything regarding the high profile title and the upcoming next-gen console, but this is the second clue that has linked the two. In June, Nintendo Gamer magazine, in an article about Black Ops 2, mentioned the Wii U functionality with the game will be "a story for next issue".

Despite the lack of announcements, many industry experts, including Michael Pachter, believe the more traditional Wii U Pro Controller was designed to attract third-party developer support like that of Activision and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
