Treyarch releases three more Call of Duty teaser videos

The teasing of this year's Call of Duty continued last night as Activision and Treyarch released three new video clips via the Call of Duty Snapchat account.

Just so you're all caught up to speed, earlier this week Treyarch hid inside of Black Ops 2's multiplayer an icon that when scanned directed people to the Call of Duty Snapchat account. On that account, Activision and Treyarch have been posting short video clips and pictures presumably teasing the new Call of Duty, which will presumably be revealed in May.

So far, all of the clips have been comprised of grainy footage spliced together, not revealing anything, but likely providing hints as to what this year's Call of Duty will be. Unlike the last two clips, the new ones don't feature any sort of voice-over. The first one has a weird white noise overlay; the second a bunch of grows; and the third some ominous tones.

Note: Rather than upload each clip individually, we put them all into the one video above.

As you would expect, the Call of Duty community is attempting to crack the clues, with many believing the new game to be Black Ops 3.  However, there are a number of arguments being made that it'll be World at War 2. Yesterday, Treyarch acknowledged the hype, adding "And so it begins…" to Black Ops 2's Message of the Day.

With May right around the corner — typically the month Activision reveals the new Call of Duty — it shouldn't be long before Treyarch lets the cat out of the bag. Earlier this year, Xbox community manager Raj Patel tweeted an image that when analyzed revealed suggested a new Call of Duty will be unveiled on May 4, 2015 at 10am PDT, 1pm EST.
