Upon logging into Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, you may have noticed an issue with the leaderboard statsbeing reset in the multiplayer and Zombies modes. Treyarch is reportedly "aware" of the issues and working to fix them.
While players' combat records still show the total time played, as well as their kill/death ratio and win/loss ratios, these aren't reflected in the leaderboard stats. Given the competitive nature of many Call of Duty players, it's easy to understand their frustrations. Treyarch hasn't ignored their complaints.
"Since this morning's backend update, we've been made aware of leaderboard issues that some are having," Treyarch said. "Currently working through server side issues re leaderboards."
"They'll be re-enabled as soon as we've fixed the issue," Treyarch concluded. Unfortunately, the studio could offer no timetable for when the leaderboard issue would be fixed. We hope it's soon, but we'll be sure to keep you updated.
