Trion cracking down on ArcheAge bots

If the Matrix taught us anything, is that if allowed, machines will ruin all our fun (society). Trion’s free-to-play MMORPG ArcheAge has been being plagued by bots. How many bots you ask? Well, Scott Hartsman, Trion CEO, Tweeted:

Yea… so we’re not talking about a bot here or there – we’re talking about 5k bots a day. A DAY! It’s good to see Trion taking action with plans to take even more action on this but damn, that’s a lot of dimp.

This hassle is no stranger to the free-to-play model. If anyone can go and make an account, that means infinite bots can be made just as easily. Suddenly masses of gold farmers and message spammers are populating your digital world. I’m curious to see how Trion EMPs these bot menaces.
