Trippy lunar sci-fi title Pragmata unveiled for next-gen consoles

Whatever is happening here, I want more!

Capcom has managed to shine brightest during Sony PlayStation 5-focused next-gen game showcase. While the eighth installment of the cult Resident Evil franchise garnered most of the attention, the surreal sci-fi title Pragmata is probably one of the most interesting games to come out of the show. Check out the stellar trailer here!

Today’s PlayStation 5 Future of Gaming event turned out to be exceptionally prolific. Especially in a year where the regular big gaming venue in the form of E3 is absent. To be honest, watching the show we almost forgot about it completely. That’s thanks in part due to today’s show being chock-full of awesome game premieres and plenty of actual next-gen footage.

Set in a dystopian near-future on Earth’s Moon, PRAGMATA will take you on an unforgettable, adventure, powered by the Next Generation of gaming hardware.
Our development team is hard at work on this brand new game title, making full use of new next-gen tech, such as ray-tracing, to create a breathtaking and immersive sci-fi setting like never before.

One of these highlight titles is Pragmata. A space-adventure that looks to offer not only stunning visuals but a mind-bending setting. As a game slated to launch in 2022, today’s reveal trailer will have to do in terms of keeping us interested in what’s behind the fascinating premise set by it. But one thing is for sure, it’s a full next-gen game that is going to take advantage of Sony’s and Microsoft’s new systems.

Pragmata is targeting to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Capcom is promising to share more details about it in 2021. In the meantime, make sure to visit Capcom’s blog post about the game where you check out some early screenshots.
