SNK Playmore is preparing to release an Xbox LIVE Arcade version of Trouble Witches, aka Tombooyish Witches, for 800 Microsoft Points later this year. According to a board classification in Australia, it won’t be limited to Japan either.
The original game was released in 2007 as a PC-based side scrolling shoot-em-up, with an arcade version in 2009 that used Taito’s Type X2 arcade board. The XBLA version will retain all of the original elements of the original games, but SNK is promising to add new features including a new character, XBL support and exclusive game modes. For those of you interested in the game, you can find out more about it at Hardcore Gaming 101.
