Soon you can try the free-to-play first-person shooter Dust 514, which enters open beta on January 22.
"The launch of the Dust 514 open beta is another step towards our long-term vision for CCP [Games] and Eve," said Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, the head of CCP, according to IGN.
Dust 514 and and the massively multiplayer Eve Online merged servers last week. The move creates a shared universe and community for the games, which connect across platforms (PC for Eve and PlayStation 3 for Dust).
Stats won't reset for anyone who played the game in closed beta, so you can continue to enjoy the experience even as Dust 514 begins a new phase of development.
