Turn-based puzzle action in DROD costs $1 on IndieGameStand

Developer Caravel Games has taken to IndieGameStand, releasing its action-puzzler DROD: Gunthro and the Epic Blunder as the latest pay-what-you-want title on the site. For as little as $1, you can snag this indie title. Seriously, a buck ain't half bad!

The DROD series has received its share of praise for delivering engaging strategic gameplay. If you're looking for something to ease you into the franchise, Gunthro is a good start.

Beating the average of $2.74 will get you an expansion that adds five to six hours of gameplay. Additionally, you'll also get two DROD soundtracks with over 90 minutes of music. Meanwhile paying $10 will get you Gunthro, Wyv and Keep, and an as of yet unrevealed IndieGameStand title.

This time around, 10 percent of all proceeds will go to Child's Play Charity, which is just really, really awesome.
