Turn your PlayStation TV into a Vita

If you're currently an owner of a PlayStation TV, or more appropriately known as the Vita TV, you're probably enjoying a bunch of Vita games on your big screen. But what if you want your PlayStation TV to be a bit more portable, you know, like a Vita? Apparently, now you can. Well, if you live in Japan at least.

Dubbed the Dekavita 7, this plastic casing with a built in screen and power supply can holster your PlayStation TV in the back, and then send the signal to the 7inch screen, which just so happens to be 2 inches bigger than the Vita's. However, it doesn't appear to be touch screen enabled, which makes sense considering a bunch of Vita games don't work on the PSTV anyway. The Dekavita 7 also has an HDMI port which allows you to plug your PS3 in it, and use it as a controller.

If you're perplexed by the existence of this peripheral, don't worry, we are too. Its current retail price is 19,800 yen for pre-orders, which equals to around $170. Couple that with the PSTV's $99 price point, and you're probably better off just buying yourself a Vita, which has access to the full library of Vita games.

If you're into the whole import scene, you can check out the details on the product's official page right here.
