Turok remaster gets release date, new dino-fueled trailer

Last week we learned Night Dive Studios, the developer responsible for the return of many "abandoned and forgotten" classic games, is remastering the dinosaur shooting classic Turok. And now we have a release date.

Turok, restored and enhanced, will hit Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store on December 17th, though we don't yet have a price. What we do have, however, is a trio of screenshots from last week and a newly released trailer showing off the remastered gameplay.

"When it was first released in 1997, Turok introduced gamers to a world teeming with cunning enemies, traps, puzzles and deadly weapons all within a vast 3D environment ready to explore. Now the classic game has been restored and enhanced with a new visual engine and exciting new features to sink your teeth into!" Night Dive writes.

Check out the gameplay trailer above and let us know how pumped you are to fight dinosaurs once again in Turok.
