Gaming audio peripheral company Turtle Beach has revealed that its recently announced XO FOUR and XO SEVEN next-gen gaming headsets won't be available for Xbox One until the first quarter of 2014.
In a press release issued late last week, Turtle Beach explained, "Microsoft has informed its partners in the Xbox One console launch that the Xbox One Headset Adapter, being built by Microsoft and provided to Turtle Beach for inclusion with new gaming headsets, will not be available until early 2014.
"Both companies will leverage the additional time to build supply to meet anticipated high-demand when the headsets launch."
ASTRO Gaming, in a similar post earlier this month, also confirmed the need for an adapter to make their headsets function with Xbox One. In the meantime, though, Xbox One owners can choose to use the wired headset or the Kinect, both of which are included with the Xbox One, for your Xbox LIVE chatting needs.
