Twitch is changing up the streaming game by adding another rank in their hierarchy, the Twitch Affiliate. According to Twitch, Affiliates will be walking the line between being an average streamer and a Twitch Partner, but unlike the average streamer, an Affiliate can earn money from streaming.
With Affiliates getting some of Twitch Partners' exclusive goods, Partners will be getting new premium features soon! Here's a quick rundown of the Affiliates.
How earning revenue works for Affiliates (as per Twitch):
At launch, Affiliates can use Bits to start earning revenue on their channels. They will receive 1 cent per Bit used to Cheer in their channel, same as Partners do, and will have access to all Cheering settings and features with the exception of Partner Custom Cheermotes. Affiliates will be able to track revenue from Bits on the Revenue tab of their Dashboard.
