Power Rangers is set to release March 24, 2017, but before that happens, we need to get into Power Rangers mood. The only way to get into the mood the right way is to watch Power Rangers 24/7 over 17 days.
Luckily, no one will have to go out and purchase all 23 seasons of Power Rangers or rip them. Twitch will be streaming 831 episodes of Power Rangers, starting on March 14th and ending on March 30th. Every Power Rangers episode shown during the marathon will be housed on Twitch's TV marathon channel, twitch.tv/TwitchPresents.
Twitch streamers will be allowed to co-stream the event with their own commentary and lurkers who subscribe to the Twitch Presents channel will get Power Rangers-themed emotes.
"Guided by feedback from our community, Twitch has been focusing on content beyond gaming that nurtures the culture around their interests, whether it be anime, art, cooking, or pop culture, in general," Twitch marketing director Annie Berrones said in a statement. "As an iconic sci-fi, superhero franchise that achieved legacy status over the past two decades, Power Rangers fits right into our community's wheelhouse."
This seems like the best way to get the Power Rangers hype going.
