Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's initial announcement revealed that a copy of Modern Warfare Remastered would come tied to the game. Activision stood by the concept that Modern Warfare Remastered would not see a standalone release – even if some slip ups suggested otherwise.
At the beginning of May, a GameFly listing suggested the game would be seeing a standalone release on in June on the PlayStation 4 and in July on the Xbox One. According to the listing, the Xbox One version of the game has a release date of July 20th and the PlayStation 4 version is set to release 30 days prior, on June 20th
A new listing has appeared, on a German game shop GameNatix (via NeoGaf), is suggesting that Modern Warfare Remaster is indeed getting a standalone release – but this listing calls for a June 23rd release. In addition to this, another German game retailer, SpieleGrotte, is listing the game for a June 23rd release.
It looks as though we just need to wait for the official announcement – which will likely come at E3 2017 (if this is actually happening).
