Months ago we heard about Nickelodeon's plans to resurrect Hey Arnold! as a TV movie and we finally have more news on the film. Craig Bartlett, the creator of Hey Arnold!, has revealed that the film has been greenlit for production at Nickelodeon.
According to Bartlett, the film will be a two-part, two-hour film that he refers to as 'The Jungle Movie.'
When Hey Arnold! first aired in 1996, the football headed youth participated in a series of plotlines, but there was one plot that was never resolved, even when the show ended in 2004 — Where are his parents? The TV movie will apparently address this plot, but will be careful to have the movie be 'consistent' with the original series.
