DC Comics is gathering their forces for an epic showdown at the end of 2017 with Justice League and today Warner Bros. has confirmed two more characters for the movie.
In a recently released movie press kit for their 2017 movies, Warner Bros. confirmed that Jesse Eisenberg would reprise his role as Lex Luthor from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a Luthor who received mixed emotions from the audience. Eisenberg had teased that Lex Luthor would return in Justice League but it has now been officially confirmed that Lex Luthor will be returning. If it is inside or outside the Belle Reve prison or not remains to be seen.
The other newly revealed character will also be one who is reprising her role, though she has yet to make her role for the first time. Connie Nielson's Queen Hippolyta has also been revealed by Warner Bros. to appear in Justice League, but her character is one the audience hasn't had the chance of making an acquaintance yet since she will first appear in Wonder Woman which is set for release June 2.
These two and a lot of other great DC Comics characters will return in Justice League, which is set for release November 17.
