As promised, Killzone: Shadow Fall will be receiving free multiplayer maps — the first two of which were revealed today. Inspired by key locations from the single-player campaign, the first pair of downloadable maps are called "The Cruiser" and "The Hanger." Each will be released for free and will be fully compatible with Killzone: Shadow Falls's Custom Warzone feature.
The Cruiser is a close-to-mid-range combat map set in the decommissioned ISA cruiser. Identifying and controlling its choke points will help you establish dominance in the tight, interconnected compartments.
The second map, The Hanger, is more of a wide-open map set in the hangar bay of one of Helghan's mining spires. The main area offers suitable sniping sites, but the map does contain alternative routes that will need to be secured.
Aside from these two new maps, developer Guerrilla Games is also working on the first DLC expansion for Shadow Fall, though we'll have to wait a bit longer for that to be revealed.
