Two Tribes shares details on the Wii U-centric features of Toki Tori 2

Toki Tori 2 continues on its journey through development, and it's fast approaching launch on the Wii U eShop. Developer Two Tribes has revealed some new info regarding the game and its GamePad specific features.

First off, you'll be able to play on the GamePad. If you choose to play Toki Tori 2 on your TV, the GamePad's touchscreen will display useful information rather than just showing you what you're already looking at on your TV.

Another neat additon is the Tokidex Camera, which channels the inner Pokemon Snap of Toki Tori 2. You'll be able to use the GamePad to scan the game's levels and snap pictures of different creatures and objects, and capturing the nearly 40 hidden images will reward you with a special Easter egg.

Sadly, Two Tribes stated that a level editor won't be available launch, though you shouldn't take that to mean that it'll never be added to the game. The developer is hoping to incorporate Miiverse functionality to allow players to share levels across the Wii U's social network, which is quite intriguing.

Oh, Toki Tori 2, you're looking more and more awesome with every dev update!
