Ubisoft and William Cruz set Guiness World Record for Far Cry 4

That's some high gaming.

The latest installment in the Far Cry series takes us to new limits, specifically, it takes us into the Himalayas.

William Cruz, a Utah native, teamed up with Ubisoft to set a Guinness World Record for Far Cry 4 (and Ubisoft).

What World Record did they set? Oh you know, just the record for Highest Altitude Videogame Console Session. Cruz sat down to play Far Cry 4 at 18,569 feet in the Everest Himalayas. The gaming session lasted for 79 minutes, which might not be that long in your book, but he was playing in 25mph winds, and in temperatures that went from 26 degrees to 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

Now, if you're like me you thought "Woah, slow down there…What about…" well, your PC doesn't count as a gaming console – it's a gaming platform and mobile games don't count, OK?
