It seems as though Fallout Shelter has established a new standard for free-to-play mobile game tie-ins because Ubisoft has announced a new Assassin's Creed mobile game which looks very familiar. The game is called Assassin's Creed: Rebellion and it is described asĀ "a free-to-play strategy RPG" that is being developed in conjunction with Behavior Interactive, who just so happened to be the developers behind Fallout Shelter. Coincidence? Nah.
Here's the game's reveal trailer:
In Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, players will recruit familiar series faces likeĀ Ezio, Aguilar, Shao Jun, Claudia, and Machiavelli while building and managing a fortress in an effort to create their own Brotherhood. As you build up your headquarters, you will unlock new rooms that will let you train assassins, and craft items and equipment. You will also be able to engage in a variety of different missions which tie into different strengths that your assassins will have, so picking the right one for the right job is paramount to success.
Assassin's Creed: Rebellion is in development right now for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android devices and is coming "soon."
