During the latest Ubisoft investors call, company boss Yves Guillemot announced Assassin's Creed III will be released on October 30, 2012.
The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed III will be released not even a year after the release of Assassin's Creed: Revelations. But before you jump down Ubisoft's throat for such a quick release, you should know the game is said to have been in development for three years.
Guillemot called the planned Assassin's Creed III release as "the biggest launch in Ubisoft history."
As of right now, no information about the game has been revealed, except that long time series protagonist Ezio de Auditore will not be in it. Ubisoft has confirmed the new game will star a brand new protagonist.
With the game's October release, I expect to hear more about Assassin's Creed III at the upcoming E3 convention.
